主讲人简介:
Kejin Wang is currently a Willison Engineering Professor at Iowa State University (ISU). She received her PhD from University of California at Berkeley, USA, in 1994. After her PhD graduation, she joined the NSF Center for Advanced Cement Based Building Materials (ACBM) at Northwestern University, Illinois, USA, as a research fellow and then the Director of the Educational Program. In 2000, she took a faculty position at ISU. Dr. Wang’s research interest and areas of expertise include (1) rheology, chemistry, microstructure, multi-scale characterization, and durability of cement and concrete materials; (2) advanced concrete technology, including nanoparticle modified concrete, self-consolidating concrete, high performance concrete, and biocementation; and (3) sustainability of concrete, including uses of industrial wastes for cement replacement, phase change materials, pervious concrete, and geopolymer concrete. She has published 7 edited books/proceedings and over 110 journal papers. She is a Fellow of American Concrete Institute (ACI) and a member of American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE), American Standard Testing Methods (ASTM), and American Ceramic Society (ACerS). She is an Editor of Journal of Construction and Building Materials and Associate Editor of ASCE Journal of Civil Engineering Materials and Journal of Sustainable Cement-Based Materials. She has served as a chair, co-organizer and committee member for various international/national conferences and workshops.
