四、报告人简介
Dr.Elmi has got his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in Welding Metallurgy in 2018. His Ph.D. research topic was “The Processes and Mechanism for the Enhancement of Laser-Welded Joint Strength of Dissimilar Ti6Al4V-304 Stainless Steel”. Meanwhile, he has some publications in the field of laser additive manufacturing.
He has studied in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad for B.Sc. and in Iran University of Science & Technology for M.Sc. educations. Both Universities are the high rank in Iranian technical universities.
He has also some great professional experiences in industrial companies of Iran. Meanwhile, he was working as a faculty member at a national university in Iran for 8 years before starting the Ph.D. in SJTU. He published 24 journal papers, 15 conference papers, and 4 books by now that one of these books was published in the United State.
