摘要:
Nanomechanics and Nanomanufacturing Group at The University of Queensland (UQ) have been developing the advanced manufacturing technologies for emerging materials and the mechanical characterisation methodologies for nanostructures in the past decade. This talk will introduce our fundamental understanding of the deformation and removal mechanisms of those advanced materials involved in abrasive machining, as well as our recent advances in additive manufacturing research. The talk will also overview our development of the innovative methods for characterising the mechanical properties of nanostructures and address the breakthrough discoveries in the associated materials science.
个人简介
Han Huang is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Queensland (UQ). He now leads a group of young active researchers at UQ, including 8 PhD students and 5 postdoctoral fellows, working on mechanical characterization of nanostructures and nanomanufacturing. Prof. Huang obtained his Bachelor and Master’s Degrees on mechanical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China) and his PhD on mechanical and materials engineering at The University of Western Australia. He published over 200 refereed journal papers, which attracted over 3,500 citations (leading to an h-index of 32). He received a number of research accolades, including Australia Research Council (ARC) Future Fellow, ARC Australia Research Fellow, JSPS Invitation Fellow and Queensland International Fellow, and won the prestigious Singapore National Technology Award for his manufacturing innovation. Prof. Huang is a Fellow of the International Society of Nanomanufacturing. He has editorial roles in a number of international journals including International Journal of Machine Tool and Manufacture (IF=3.2) and is a steering committee member of several nanotechnology conferences.
