Dr. Ferruccio Giametta, Associate Professor of Agricultural Engineering at the Agriculture, Environment, Food Science Department, Graduate School of Agriculture, University of Molise (Italy), Visiting Professor at the Bio-Sensing Engineering Lab, Division of Environmental Science & Technology, Graduate School of Agriculture, Kyoto University. His research interests include: mechanical harvesting and post-harvesting of arboreal and horticultural growings, ventilation systems in confined environments (cowsheds), disposal and re-use of agrofood residuals, energy efficiency, safety, and ergonomics, olives processing industry, pesticide distribution, electronic traceability, quality and food safety, food preservation (drying, cooling, freezing, packing).
