Recently, the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences released the list of outstanding organizations and individuals for the College Students in Action program in 2025, recognizing outstanding units and teams in the field of national ecological and environmental science and technology volunteer services. The school was awarded the title of Outstanding Organization, the Qinghe Guard Team of the School of Environment was awarded the title of Outstanding Team, and Huang Mengxi was awarded the title of Outstanding Volunteer.
The School of Environment organized a total of 17 teams with 143 students to various places to carry out social practice activities such as ecological and environmental science popularization lectures and green and low-carbon concepts. They spread ecological and environmental protection knowledge to rural areas, communities, and schools, achieving good results.
