To Build a Solid Mental Health Protection Network on Campus and Effectively Safeguard the Physical and Mental Health of Teachers and Students, the University Has Established a Multi-level and Wide-ranging Mental Health Support Service System

1. Mental Health Support for Faculty and Staff

Faculty and staff of the university can access professional support through the Zhejiang Provincial Mental Health Education Service Center for Faculty and Staff. The official website of the center is www.xlteacher.zjut.edu.cn, a specialized service platform catering to faculty and staff across the province. Through this center, faculty and staff can receive psychological counseling, guidance and crisis intervention services, so as to better cope with work and life pressures and maintain a sound physical and mental state.

2. Mental Health Support for Students

For all registered students, the university provides convenient online mental health service channels. Students can follow the WeChat official account Sunflower Valley Psychological Services to obtain mental health knowledge, online counseling services and information about various mental health activities, meeting the demand for personalized and accessible mental health support. In addition, the Graduate Affairs Department of the university has specially launched the branded series of activities Warm Sunshine on the Postgraduate Journey. Through diverse forms such as academic stress relief workshops, career planning sessions and group counseling, the series offers continuous and caring support for postgraduates in their academic development and life adaptation.

3. University Mental Health Service Network

In addition to the special services mentioned above, Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) has also set up its own ZJUT Psychological Counseling Center, a comprehensive institution providing mental health services for all teachers and students on campus. It strives to build a campus mental health support hub characterized by professionalism and warmth.

For all students of the university, the center offers a variety of services including one-on-one counseling, group guidance and crisis intervention, accurately addressing practical needs such as emotional management, stress coping and career planning. Meanwhile, through distinctive activities like the Two Months and Two Weeks campaign and psychological lectures, it disseminates mental health concepts and fosters a positive and supportive campus psychological environment.

As an exclusive mental health safe haven for ZJUT students, the center focuses on the full-cycle needs of student development. Whether students need help with self-awareness, career planning or resolving interpersonal conflicts, they can always get professional support here. By organizing a wide range of mental health activities to cultivate a positive campus atmosphere, the center walks alongside every student and helps them achieve psychological growth and all-round development during their university years.
