Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Zhejiang Province officially announced the list of provincial concept validation centers for 2025. The Zhejiang Provincial Concept Validation Center for Green Chemical Synthesis and Transformation established by our university based on the National Key Laboratory of Green Chemical Synthesis and Transformation Technology and the Moganshan Research Institute has been successfully selected.
The Zhejiang Provincial Concept Validation Center for Green Chemical Synthesis and Transformation is jointly built by ZJUT and the Zhejiang University of Technology Moganshan Research Institute in Deqing County, focusing on the fields of green chemical engineering and new materials. The center is supported by high-level research platforms such as the National Key Laboratory of Green Chemical Synthesis and Transformation Technology of Zhejiang University of Technology. It has over 6,000 square meters of concept validation workshops and pilot-scale production sites, equipped with advanced instruments and equipment such as microchannel continuous reaction systems, intelligent synthesis workstations, and in-situ characterization and analysis devices. The total investment amounts to over 40 million yuan. As of now, the total amount of concept validation services has exceeded 10 million yuan, and multiple achievements have been validated and entered the pilot-scale production stage or the stage of result application and transformation. Relevant achievements are currently being transferred and transformed with several leading chemical enterprises in the province.
Up to now, our university has led the establishment of 1 provincial concept validation center and 3 municipal concept validation centers.
