On January 21st, ZJUT held a retirement ceremony for the faculty members retiring in 2025. President Cai Yuanqiang, Vice President Zheng Hua, and representatives of the retiring faculty members attended the event.
Cai Yuanqiang stated that the retiring faculty members have been the witnesses, builders, and participants of the university's development. He wished them to remain steadfast in their original aspirations, to maintain their vigor and enthusiasm, and to enjoy good health and happiness in their retirement.
Professor Mi Liqin, a representative of the retiring teachers from the School of Physics, delivered a speech. She affectionately recalled the years of working together with Zhejiang University of Technology and growing together, and sincerely expressed her deep love and reluctance to leave the education field. During the ceremony, the university leaders presented flowers to the retiring faculty members and took group photos with them. It is reported that a total of 67 faculty members retired from the university in 2025.
