Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Provincial Department of Finance jointly announced the list of the first batch of provincial pilot-scale platforms. The Green Biocatalysis and Separation Technology Pilot-Scale Platform built based on the Moganshan Institute of Zhejiang University of Technology was successfully selected.
The Zhejiang Provincial Green Biocatalysis and Separation Technology Pilot-Scale Platform is located in Deqing County, Huzhou City, and belongs to the field of biomedicine. The first phase of the platform is based on the biomedicine-related sites of the university science and technology park and industrial innovation park of the institute, with a total area of over 10,000 square meters and a total investment of over 60 million yuan. In 2024, the total income from pilot-scale services was over 12 million yuan, and the pilot-scale achievement of active folic acid has been transformed by the listed company Shengda Pharmaceutical.
Up to now, the university has led the selection of one provincial pilot-scale platform under the key cultivation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and one provincial pilot-scale platform. It has also led the selection of two provincial concept verification center construction layout lists.
