On January 6, the launch and implementation plan demonstration meeting for the 2025 National Key Catalytic Science project was held at ZJUT.
The project expert panel was composed of seven scholars and experts, including Professor Wang Yong from Zhejiang University and Professor Zhu Yan from Nanjing University.
In his speech, Vice President Hu Jun of ZJUT expressed gratitude to the attending leaders, experts, and project members for their strong support for the university's development and project implementation. He stated that, as the leading university of the project, the university would fully mobilize resources and actively create favorable research conditions to ensure the high-quality completion of the project. He also expressed hope that the academicians and experts present would provide further support and guidance for the smooth implementation of the project.
The participants of each sub-project sequentially reported on their specific implementation plans, research objectives, task assignments, and research progress.
The expert panel affirmed the feasibility of the project’s research objectives, content, and implementation plan while offering opinions and suggestions on the key scientific and technical issues to be addressed in each research task.
The project is led by Professor Li Ying from the School of Chemical Engineering at ZJUT, in collaboration with institutions such as Fudan University.
