On December 5th, the East China Institute of Synthetic Biology Industry Technology of ZJUT and Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. held a project signing ceremony at the Chaohui Campus. The total amount of the project reached 120 million yuan. This signing ceremony marks a milestone step for both parties in the field of synthetic biology empowering biomedicine. Li Zhilong, the Secretary of the CPC Gushu District Committee, Xiao Weihong, the Chairman and President of Hisun Pharmaceutical, Shen Yinchu, the academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the honorary president of the university, and Cai Yuanqiang, the Secretary of the Party Committee of ZJUT, attended the signing ceremony.
In his speech, Cai Yuanqiang said that Zhejiang University of Technology and Hisun Pharmaceutical have had a deep cooperation foundation for over 30 years. This cooperation on the bioengineering heparin project in Gushu District with Hisun Pharmaceutical is not only a further deepening of the past good cooperative relationship, but also a further practice of the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation.
Li Zhilong congratulated the project cooperation signing between Hisun Pharmaceutical and the East China Institute of Synthetic Biology Industry Technology of ZJUT. He expected that Gushu District could carry out cooperation withZJUT at a deeper level and in a broader field, and attract more excellent projects, talents and enterprises to settle in Gushu District.
