On the afternoon of May 30th, a joint meeting on cooperation between ZJUT and Deqing County was held at the Moganshan Campus. Present at the meeting were ZJUT Party Secretary Cai Yuanqiang, President Gao Xiang, County Party Secretary Wang Bo, County Magistrate Wang Jianfeng, and leaders from the High-tech Zone, as well as relevant officials from the ZJUT and Deqing County.
Cai Yuanqiang pointed out that both the university and the local government should focus on two major tasks: promoting the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talent, and deepening the integration of scientific and industrial innovation. Together, they should build an innovative community that integrates education, science, technology, industry, and urban development.
Wang Bo noted that since last year, ZJUT and Deqing have embarked on the second decade of ZJUT-local cooperation, further clarifying the goals, directions, and measures for the next stage.
Gao Xiang pointed out that through joint efforts and practical actions, the university and the local government have achieved significant new breakthroughs in areas such as scientific research cooperation, talent cultivation, and social services.
The meeting witnessed the signing of the Agreement on Jointly Supporting ZJUT-Local Integration and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
