On the morning of March 16th, the 16th China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Conference was held at the Beijing Conference Center, with representatives from all sectors including government, industry, academia, research, and finance attending the event. President Gao Xiang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was invited to participate in the event.
At the conference, the award ceremony for the 2024 China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation and Promotion Awards was held. The case of deep integration of industry, academia and research submitted by Zhejiang University of Technology focused on the mechanism innovation of the university's long-term industry-university-research cooperation and high-quality construction of school-local cooperation carriers, summarized the achievements made in promoting the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, and was successfully selected as one of the 100 Good Cases of Deep Integration of Industry, Academia and Research in China 2024 (a total of 100 cases nationwide), and stood out among them to win the Top 10 Good Cases of Deep Integration of Industry, Academia and Research in China 2024.
The conference also held the ceremony for the appointment of experts and the awarding of outstanding figures. President Gao Xiang and nine other experts were appointed as special experts of the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Association.
It is reported that since 2017, Zhejiang University of Technology has won a total of 24 awards (honors) from the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Association, including 11 Industry-University-Research Innovation Achievement Awards (including 2 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 1 third prize, and 3 excellence awards), 11 Industry-University-Research Innovation Promotion Awards, 1 Industry-University-Research Innovation Demonstration Base, and 1 Top 10 Good Case of Deep Integration of Industry, Academia and Research.
