On November 22nd, 2024, a mobilization and deployment meeting to accelerate the construction of an innovative Zhejiang and the development of new productive forces tailored to local conditions, as well as the Provincial Science and Technology Awards Conference, was held in Hangzhou. The conference commended the winners of the 2023 Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Awards. Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) received a total of 32 Provincial Science and Technology Awards (including collaborative awards). Among them, ZJUT was the primary contributor for 8 first prizes, 7 second prizes, and 3 third prizes. Both the total number of awards and the number of first prizes reached new historical highs, once again achieving a grand slam in the three major categories of the Natural Science Award, Technological Invention Award, and Science and Technology Progress Award.
According to reports, the conference commended a total of 310 projects for the 2023 Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Awards. This included 1 Zhejiang Science and Technology Grand Award, 299 awards for Natural Science, Technological Invention, and Science and Technology Progress, and 10 International Science and Technology Cooperation Awards.
