On August 24 and 25, 2024, the Social Assistance and Digital Governance (2024) Exchange Conference was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Zheng Gongcheng, member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and Professor of Renmin University of China, Jiang Wei, Director of the Social Assistance Department of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Chen Bin, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Department of Civil Affairs of Zhejiang Province, Cai Yuanqiang, Party Secretary of Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) attended the conference. More than 300 representatives from the Ministry of Civil Affairs, UNICEF, local civil affairs and medical insurance departments, universities, enterprises and social organizations attended the conference.
The conference consists of keynote presentations and 14 sub-forums. At the closing ceremony of the conference, the hosts and reviewers of the 14 sub-forums respectively made a summary report of the sub-forums.
