From March 26th to 27th, 2024, Gao Xiang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of Zhejiang University of Technology, was invited to attend the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2024. He participated in the sub-forum themed “Innovation, Green, Digitalization, Integration: Leading High-Quality Development” and delivered a keynote speech.
Gao Xiang mentioned that as a university president, universities are the perfect blend of scientific innovation and talent cultivation. The best research topics at universities often stem from inspiration but also greatly from industry and real-world problems. The original technology from universities can’t be turned into reality without the support of the industry, exchanges and cooperation.
The Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2024 was held from March 26th to March 29th in Boao, Hainan, with the theme of “Asia and the World: Common Challenges, Shared Responsibilities”.
