On July 19th, 2023, the Carbon Neutrality Forum, part of the Dehou Lecture Series of Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT), was held at the Moganshan Campus. Professor Iqbal M. Mujtaba, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics at the University of Bradford and Academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering, and Professor Wang Meihong from the University of Sheffield, delivered keynote speeches, attracting the participation of more than 200 faculty and students.
Academician Iqbal M. Mujtaba presented a keynote speech titled “Water, Water Everywhere, Not Any Drop to Drink”, and Professor Wang Meihong delivered a keynote presentation titled “Systems Engineering for Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage”.
Following the presentations, the two guests engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with the on-site faculty and students. It was reported that this forum was one of the academic forums in the series commemorating the 70th anniversary of ZJUT and the second session of the Dehou Lecture, organized by the Zhejiang Carbon Neutrality Innovation Research Institute.
