On the evening of September 14th, 2023, Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) held a grand opening ceremony for the 2023 graduate students at the Pingfeng Campus Gymnasium, with a live broadcast at the Moganshan Campus Student Activity Center. Leaders of the CPC committee and administration, including Cai Yuanqiang and Gao Xiang, attended the ceremony. All 2023 graduate students, relevant department heads, major representatives from each college, student affairs supervisors, teacher representatives, and counselors were present at the ceremony.
President Gao Xiang delivered a speech during the ceremony, emphasizing that the study of graduate student signifies a transition from knowledge recipients to knowledge creators. He shared the university’s development, alumni stories, and responsibilities, expressing three hopes for the new students.
Party Secretary Cai Yuanqiang announced the list of scholarship recipients for the new graduate students.
A solemn university badge wearing ceremony and an academic oath ceremony were conducted for all 2023 graduate students.
The ceremony successfully concluded with a group singing of the ZJUT anthem.
