On the morning of October 10th, 2023, the Chen Baohua Education Development Fund donation ceremony took place at the Zhaohui Campus of Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT). Chen Baohua, a graduate of the Class of 1983 in Industrial Analysis and President of Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., along with company officials, visited the university. Cai Yuanqiang, the CPC Secretary of ZJUT, and leaders such as Yu Xiaofen, Party Committee Member and Vice President, attended the ceremony.
During the ceremony, Cai Yuanqiang, on behalf of the university, expressed heartfelt thanks to Chen Baohua and Huahai Pharmaceutical for their continuous support. Prior to the ceremony, President Gao Xiang met with Chen Baohua. Through this donation, Chen Baohua generously contributed 20 million RMB in his personal capacity to support the university’s development.
Chen Baohua is an alumna of the Class of 1983 in Industrial Analysis and currently serves as the President of Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Over the years, he has been actively supporting the educational development of the university. In 2013, Chen Baohua donated 3 million RMB to establish the Huahai Fund in the name of his company, dedicated to fostering talent in science and technology innovation at the university, and contributed 400,000 RMB for landscaping at the Pingfeng Campus.
