From July 2nd to 4th, 2023, the Second International Symposium on Advanced Functional Materials, along with the Sino-Arab Joint Laboratory for Advanced Materials Microscale Structure Engineering Innovation Forum, was held in Hangzhou. The event provided a platform for academic exchange for scholars from home and abroad, promoting industrial transformation and international relationship development. This conference was one of the academic forums in the series commemorating the 70th anniversary of Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT).
Hu Wei, Deputy Governor of Zhejiang Province and Chairman of the Zhejiang Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party, delivered a video speech. Attendees included Professor Ren Qilong from Zhejiang University, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Researcher Shi Jianlin from Shanghai Institute of Silicate of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Cai Yuanqiang, Secretary of the CPC Committee of ZJUT. Over 300 domestic and international experts, scholars, and representatives from the business circles participated in the symposium.
More than 100 academic presentations and discussions were conducted by experts and scholars on various themes. The event also featured the unveiling ceremony of the ZJUT Electron Microscopy Center’s Joint Laboratory.
