On November 18th, 2023 (local time in the United States: November 17th, 4:20 PM), Ms. Dai Dandan, a teacher from the Physical Education Department of Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT), scored victory by winning the championship in the Women’s Tai Chi Sword Competition at the 16th World Martial Arts Championships. It was held in the city of Fort Worth, Texas, USA, from November 14th to 20th, 2023 (Beijing time). Ms. Dai secured the first position with an impressive score of 9.826.
The World Martial Arts Championships is the highest-level international event in the martial arts circles, held biennially, attracting nearly 300 athletes from five continents to compete for approximately 40 gold medals.
