On the morning of June 19th, the graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony of the Class of 2022 was held in the gymnasium of Pingfeng Campus. All the graduates attended the ceremony.
President Li Xiaonian delivered a speech on Honest Virtue, Honesty and Fine Art. He said that next to the ancient canal, at the foot of Xiaohe Mountain, and at the foot of Mogan Mountain, you have nurtured your thoughts, shaped your values, and gained your skills, and have gone through the most special and beautiful journey in your life. You have worked hard and never stopped, and the most beautiful things of youth are shining on you. Li Xiaonian emphasized that the lofty spirit is the soul of a great cause. The Learning of Adults aims to carry forward the moral character of uprightness and integrity, and through education to promote oneself and others, and achieve perfection. In recent years, the students have infiltrated, nurtured and developed the spirit and culture of ZJUT, and cultivated the common characteristics of studying for others and ruling the world. The school motto of Honest Virtue has become our eternal spiritual coordinate; the study style of extracting the essence and making good use of it is the practical guide for every ZJUTer's honest and refined skills.
Li Xiaonian sent a message to the graduates that with the benevolent heart of honority. They will continue to cultivate the confidence of honoring morality and goodness. The original intention is to continue to forge the world's ambition to serve the public and benefit the people; with the ingenuity of fine art, to continue to forge the spirit of being realistic , and striving for first-class spirit. He wished all the 2022 graduates a bright future.
Associate Professor Liu Yujing from the School of Materials delivered a speech on behalf of the teachers. Zheng Fufu from Jianxing Honors College and Zhang Qi from the School of Environment delivered speeches on behalf of undergraduates and graduates respectively. Wu Yanming, the 95th alumnus of Huaji and President of Xin'an Chemical Industry, sent a message to the graduates.
The golden light filled the sky, the confetti flying, and the graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony ended successfully in the collective chorus Dream Chasing in ZJUT.
