On July 18th, 2022, the 8th National Conference on Carbon Catalysis, organized by the Energy Particle Material Professional Board of the Chinese Society of Particuology and co-hosted by Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT), Ningxia University, and China University of Petroleum, was successfully concluded in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Taken “The Green Development of Carbon Catalysis and Carbon Material Industry” as its theme, the conference was held both online and offline with real-time participants reaching 35,000.
Professor Li Xiaonian, President of ZJUT, Professor Zheng Huajun, Vice President of ZJUT, Professor Liu Huazhang, Professor Wang Jianguo, Professor Hu Jun and Professor Liu Chunshan from College of Chemical Engineering, ZJUT, attended the conference.
The conference invited six leading scientists in the field of carbon catalysis to give presentations. Professor Li Xiaonian was one of those invited, and his report was titled “Carbon Catalysts for Industrial Processes”. ZJUT student Wei Lixiahao won the PhD Forum Award, and Zhang Shijie, Han Xiaojia, and Shao Fangjun earned the Excellent Poster Award.
