Recently, Mashinde Katombe Merveille, an international student from our university, published an article titled "China-A Model of Rural Development in Congo (DRC)" in Congo's "Future" and "Congo Daily Net".
Wang Defu who was the leader of the "Dandelion Project"-the summer social practice team for international students to visit rural revitalization, went to the Future Community of Yudong Village in Quzhou City and Jinxing Village to carry out a 6-day field visit. He wrote in the article that this summer, he had personally experienced the strategic measures formulated by the Chinese government for poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, and the implementation of a series of measures such as agricultural modernization, rural financial services, eco-tourism, and online e-commerce have enabled China's rural areas to achieve sustainable and rapid development. This development model is very worthy of the Congo (DRC) and other countries in Africa to learn from.
In the article, while praising the success of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on Africa-China Cooperation in the past three years, the development of Africa-China relations has achieved fruitful results, while expressing high expectations for the upcoming Dakar meeting.
