On the morning of September 10th, the opening ceremony of 2021 graduate students was held in Moganshan Campus.
President Li Xiaonian gave the first lesson to the new graduate students with the theme of "exploring the way of scholarship". Li Xiaonian put requests to them from the three aspects of "creating morality, accomplishing achievements" and "initiating words" . He encouraged the new students to establish the grand perspective of "creating morality, contributing service", and embraced the great ambition of “saving the adversity and eliminating difficulties and making contributions to the times". He encouraged new students always to keep in their minds to “express reasonably and essentially.”

He pointed out that last September ZJUT Moganshan campus ushered in the first batch of teachers and students, which had fulfilled the dream of a "doorstep university" for Deqing people. Now the arrival of all the new graduate students endowed Deqing with more youthful vigor and vitality. He wished that people can live a comfortable life in Deqing, achieve something and show their talents.
