On April 12, 2019, a delegation headed by Professor Daniel Ducoff, Vice President for External Relations at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), USA,visited Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT).
After President Li Xiaonian welcomed the guests,a meeting was heldat which the two sides exchanged views on promoting cooperation in fields such as student training, exchange of teachers and students, and scientific research.
ZJUT attaches great importance to expanding collaboration with globaltop universities like CWRU, President Li Xiaonian said.
Vice President Danial Ducoff also indicated that CWRU was willing to strengthen partnership between the two universities in teacher and student exchange programs, so that cooperation in student exchange, joint education and scientific research would be pushed to higher levels.
Case Western Reserve University is one of the earlier members of the 62 top research-oriented universities of the Association of American Universities. As a cradle for as many as 17 Nobel Prize winners, CWRU is also one of the world's top private research universities renowned for independent research, and itranks top 40 by US Newsfor many consecutive years in terms of comprehensivepower.
