A five-people delegation, headed by Ahmad Ezzeddine, Vice President of International Affairs at Wayne State University (WSU), and FarshadFotouhi, Dean of the School of Engineering, visitedZhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) recently.
During their meeting, President Li Xiaonian extended a warm welcome to the guests. After an introduction of the recent achievements of ZJUT, heemphasized that ZJUT attaches great importance to the partnership with WSU.
President Ezzeddine said the visit gave him a deeper understanding of ZJUT’s features and fortes. Being fully aware that ZJUT is one of WSU’s most important partners in China, WSU is willing to further the cooperation in student exchange, joint training, and scholar exchange. He also pointed out that a joint dual-degree postgraduate programwill enhance deeper collaboration in various fields. It is hoped that an agreement on the cooperative project can be reached to have the project launched soon.
