From February 7th through 15th, 2019, an art troupe, consisting of teachers and students from the School of Art, Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT), visited the Confucius Institute at Valparaiso University (CIVU), US, on invitation.
In addition to performing at Valparaiso University, the art troupe hosted another five brilliant performances at West Side Leadership Academy, Crete Monee High School, Culver Academies, Bowman Leadership Academy, and Parkview Elementary School.
The troupe also participated in the Overseas Chinese Spring Festival Gala organized in the Greater Chicago area.
The CIVU has been dedicated to the promotion and spread of Chinese culture and art for more than ten years since its inauguration on February 14, 2008. It not only offers Chinese language courses, but also holds nearly 10 special cultural events each year, which radiates to the entire Indiana state, and even to the Midwest region.
