On the morning of December 18, 2018, Prof. Cai Yuanqiang, Party Committee Secretary of Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT), met with Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, President of the University of Ghana.
Prof. Cai Yuanqiang welcomed the delegation from the University of Ghana. He pointed out that the University of Ghana, a sister university of ZJUT, plays an important role in teaching Chinese to non-Chinese speakers and in spreading Chinese culture.
Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu fully recognized the outstanding achievements of the Confucius Institute jointly operated by the two universities, and put forward valuable suggestions for its development. He said that the two universities had a lot in common in school management, and would seek more opportunities for cooperation in the future to deepen the cooperative relationship, as well as to promote cultural exchange between China and Ghana.
During his stay at ZJUT, Prof. Ebenezer Oduro Owusu visited the School of Design and the Institute of Laser Advanced Manufacturing, ZJUT. He also delivered an academic lecture titled “The Role of the University of Ghana in Sino-Ghana Relations”.
