The 5th World Internet Conference and the 1st UN World Geospatial Information Conference concluded successfully in ZhejiangProvince in November. Led by the teachers in charge, 100 volunteers from Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT)worked at different postssuch as guest reception, event guide, hotel assistance, and road guard,presentingto the worldunique images of the youth from ZJUT.
Since the first World Internet Conference, a total of 386 teachers and students from ZJUT have participated in the organization and volunteer service of the conferences.
The first UN World Geospatial Information Conference was not only the largest, highest-level and most content-rich geospatial information conference sponsoredby the UN, but also China’s major international multilateral event of the highest level and with the most extensive coverage in the field of mapping and geospatial information.
