From Oct. 26 to 27, the 28th Sports Meet of Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) was held on Pingfeng Campus, with over 2500 students from 22 teams participating in 51 events.
Jin Xue and Ye Pengfei from the College of Economics and Management achieved the results of 15.71m and 15.67m respectively in medicine ball, breaking the university records.
All athletes adhered to the Olympic spirits-- ‘higher, faster and stronger’ and ‘unity, friendship and progress’. In the end, the colleges ranking top eight in total scores were the Zhijiang College, the College of Economics and Management, the College of Education, the College of Computer Science and Technology, the College of Chemical Engineering, the College of Mechanical Engineering, the College of Information Engineering and the College of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
The ‘Sportsmanship Award’ went to the College of Mechanical Engineering, the College of Pharmaceutical Science, the School of Humanities, the College of Education and the International College.
