These days, the sunflowers on Pingfeng Campus, Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) come out in full blossom, which became an attraction of both the campus and the city.
A sea of yellow makes the campus a pastoral place, attractingstudents and staff as well as citizens who have long heard of its beauty.
It is the eighth year that the university has grown the 1.6-acre sunflowers. The blooming period lasts for about three weeks. In its full blossom, the number of visitorscan reach up to 30 thousand per day.
The media were also drawn to report on the flower sea. On Oct. 25, the Xinhuanet posted anarticle‘Visit ZJUT for Its Golden Sun flower Sea’ on its home page.
