Professor Li Xiaonian, President of Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT) met a five-member delegation led by Professor Anders Hederstierna, President of BTH (Swedish:Blekinge Tekniska Högskola). Heads of the International Office, the College of Mechanical Engineering, the College of Science, and the International College attended the meeting.
President Li extended his warm welcome to the guests, and introduced the general situation of ZJUT, its rapid development and achievements in recent years. President Anders Hederstierna exchanged information on the current situation of BTH and madeaspecial mention of international exchange and cooperation designed for its future development.
During the visit, the delegation attended the 2017 Opening Ceremony of the ZJUT and BTH Joint Program for Software Engineering Students . Prof. Pan Haitian welcomed the delegation and said, ‘Let us celebrate and witness a new beginning of the joint program of the two universities’. President Anders Hederstierna expressed his best wishes for the freshman students. A student representative also made a speech at the ceremony.
ZJUT established the cooperative relationship with BTH on 10 Oct, 2006, and has cultivated many top students through the joint programs in the past five years.
