Co-organized by Zhejiang Education Department, Department of International and Overseas Chinese Affairs of Zhejiang province, co-hosted by Education and Science Channel of Zhejiang Radio Station and Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT), ‘Dream Trip in Zhejiang’, the 10th International Student Chinese Talent Show attracted more than 240 international students from 60 countries or so, who were studying in 22 Chinese universities.
International students of different colors gave Chinese style performances, like cheongsam fashion show, Shaoxing opera, group crosstalk, etc.
Rotto, a Congo student of ZJUT majoring in Control Science and Engineering, who was crazy about traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese calligraphy, was one of the four hosts of the show.
‘Dream Trip in Zhejiang’, an annual cultural exchange event aimed for International students, has been successfully held for ten years in succession.
This year, the activity consisted of fun games, Chinese talent show, visits to the Dream Town, and so on.
Up to the end of 2016, the number of International university students from 176 countries and regions studying in Zhejiang province has reached up to 30,000, which ranks third in China after Beijing and Shanghai.
