From Dec. 6th to Dec. 7th, the 8th Sino-Vietnam People’s Forum was held in Hangzhou, co-organized by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), and hosted by Zhejiang University of Technology (ZJUT).
Lin Yi, Vice President of CPAFFC, and Fan Wenzhang, Vice President of VUFO attended the forum, along with experts and professionals in political, economic, and academic fields. Mei Xinlin, Secretary of Party Committee of ZJUT, addressed the forum on behalf of ZUT.
Established by friendship organizations of both countries in 2010, the forum has been functioning well with experts from both countries exchanging ideas on how to handle disputes and promote bilateral relationship, thus playing a positive role in enhancing friendly cooperation between the two countries.
