The Twelfth International Conference on Theoretical and Computational Acoustics (ICTCA2015) co-hosted by Zhejiang University of Technology and Zhejiang University during 11th to 16th Oct. opens in Hangzhou City.
Focusing on themes like acoustic metamaterial, acoustic super-computering, animal acoustics and ocean acoustics, the Conference serves to deeply explore and exchange notes of the latest research progress and achievements of related fields. Invited to the Conference and to give keynote lectures are world-renowned acoustics experts as Martin Ochmann, president of Germany Acoustic Society; Prof. E. C. Shang of Acoustics Research Institute, Chinese Sciences Academy; Prof. Andrew Norris of Rutgers University; Prof. Chi-Fang Chen of National Taiwan University.
International Conference on “Theoretical and Computational Acoustics” is held every two years. The 12th Conference attracts over 180 acoustics experts from universities and scientific research institutions from more than 20 countries and regions such as Rutgers University, Acoustics Research Institute of CSA, Hawaii Institute of Geophysics, Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology, University of Applied Sciences Berlin, National Taiwan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nanjing University, Hefei University of Technology, 715th Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, and it has received over 150 academic papers from home and abroad.
