Recently, with the cooperation with Prof. Dai Sheng from Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Chen Yinfei, Lu Hanfeng Research Group from College of Chemical Engineering of ZJUT has made a breakthrough on producing rare earth Cerium-based solid solution catalysts and its catalytic oxidation. Their paper “Mesoporous MnCeOx solid solutions for low temperature and selective oxidation of hydrocarbon” has been published in Nature Communications, a Series of the top Publication Nature. As the inter-disciplinary journal of Nature series, Nature Communications is a professional platform for high quality research papers on various fields like Biology, Physics and Chemistry. It is a representative journal of important progresses of relevant research fields. The Journal’s Impact Factor reached 11.47 in 2014. Prof. Lu Hanfeng from ZJUT and Prof. Dai Sheng from Oak Ridge National Laboratory are co-corresponding authors of the paper, with Prof. Chen Yinfei, Prof. Zhou Ying and Prof. Zhu Qiulian from ZJUT as co-authors helping to accomplish the paper.
The team led by Prof. Chen Yinfei and Prof. Lu Hanfeng has been concentrating on researches about composite oxides materials as well as their catalytic oxidation applications for years and has obtained certain achievements on fields of the control of atmospheric pollution like VOCs, NOX and automobile exhaust. The research group gets a dozen or so papers published in international journals like J. Am. Chem. Soc., Chem. Commun., J. Hazard. Mater., Catal. Sci. Tech. etc. within the latest three years.
