From May 23 to 25, the final of the 4th Entrepreneurship Competition for Hangzhou College Students was held on Zhaohui Campus of ZJUT. Lu Yongxiang, former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of NPC, attended this event and granted awards to winners.
In this year’s competition, contestants were divided into two groups-- Growth Group and Practice Group. The former consisted of college students and those having graduated within 2 years, and the latter consisted of students who have graduated for 3 to 5 years. Since the competition got launched in 2014, it has attracted over 2700 participants from home and abroad.
After going through professional assessments, 100 teams from these two groups were selected to participate in the round of Defense Presentation on May 23, which again selected the Top 50 teams. And 6 teams from Growth Group and 5 teams from Practice Group were selected to compete in the final round.
Seven influential figures in entrepreneurship, business and venture capital were invited to act as judges for this competition, including Zhu Min, Chairman of Cybernaut, Wang licheng, Chairman of Holley Group and Vice Chairman of Zhejiang Federation of Industry and Commerce, Wu Xiaobo, Dean of the College of Public Administration of ZJUT, Zhang Fan, General Manager of China Unicom Venture Capital Investment, Wang Qicheng, CEO of HAKIM, Li Feng, a senior partner of IDG, Tang Dajie, Vice Chairman of Shenzhen Venture Capital Investment.
Three team projects from ZJUT were among the TOP 100 Projects of Growth Group, with “ Application of Drone Visual and System Research and Development” and “ SERS Rapid Detection Limited Liability Company” wining the second prize respectively.
