On the evening of June 21, the 2014 graduate degree-granting ceremony was held in the teacher-student activity center of Zhaohui Campus of Zhejiang University of Technology. The Director of Degree Assess Committee as well as the president Zhang Libin, Vice Secretary of Party Committee He Zhiyun, the Deputy Director of Degree Assess Committee, the Vice president Li Xiaonian, members of Degree Assess Committee and related personnel, served as officiating professors. People from correlative departments, the representatives of teachers and students, as well as parents, participated in the ceremony.
At 7:00 pm, the ceremony started with the solemn national anthem. He Zhiyun presided over the degree-granting ceremony and Li Xiaonian readout decisions about granting degrees.
The director of graduate school hosted the ceremony. Accompanied with melodious music, the graduates went on stage for the “turning of the tassel” ceremony, received degree certificate from the principal and took photos.
During the ceremony, the university honored the 14 pieces of “2013 ZJUT Outstanding PhD Thesis” and 125 pieces of “2013 ZJUT Outstanding Master Thesis.” He Zhiyun and Li Xiaonian granted certificates to the winners.
Before the degree-granting ceremony, the directors of our university, the tutors, graduates and their parents took part in a dinner party at the stadium.
It is reported that after the consideration by the Degree Assess Committee of Zhejiang University of Technology on June 13, Ji Dengxiang and 45 other students were granted PhDs, Ma Hanyun and 1,200 other students were granted master’s degrees.
